Parents Empowered After Child Estrangement (PEACE)

You are not alone. Even though it’s rarely spoken about, the experience of parents and adult children losing contact is far more common than most people realize. Research shows that about one in four people are currently estranged from a family member, which means many others are quietly carrying a similar kind of pain.

Parents Empowered After Child Estrangement (PEACE) is an in‑person peer support group created for parents, families and friends who are navigating the heartbreak of separation from an adult child. While it isn’t a therapy session, it is a place grounded in compassion — a space where you can share, listen and heal without fear of judgment.

Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM. If you have questions, please send us an email at peace@samaritansheartgb.org.
