DESCRIPTION:At PEACE, our mission is simple: to help parents and others cope with the pain of estrangement.  We provide a supportive community for parents who, like us, have experienced the heartache of losing contact with their adult children. Our peer support groups are grounded in empathy and peer support, not in strategies for reconciliation. We understand that estrangement can stem from a wide range of experiences, and we offer a space for those affected to share, heal, and find solace and support. While we welcome all parents and others coping with the many challenges of estrangement, we neither engage in debates nor respond to vitriol. Our focus remains on providing comfort and understanding to those who need it most.\nPEACE is not a “church group”.  It’s a group where we support each other toward healing. \nThe support group meets in Room 111.  \n \n
